POLICY ON COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
(Applicable to Vietnam Association for the Protection of Rights of Musical Performing Artists - APPA)

The Vietnam Association for the Protection of Rights of Musical Performing Artists (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") values users' personal information and complies with current Vietnamese law.
Through this Privacy Policy, the Association informs users about the purpose and method of using the personal information provided by users, as well as the measures taken to protect users' personal information. If the Association modifies the Privacy Policy, it will inform users through a notice on the Association's website (or individual notices).

[Meaning of Personal Information]

Personal information is information about a living individual that can be used to identify that individual based on information such as name and residence registration number (including information that cannot be used to identify a specific individual, but can be easily combined with other information to do so).

[Scope of Personal Information Collection]

The Association collects personal information through several methods to provide various services to users. This information includes mandatory information when registering on the Association's website, as well as optional information necessary to provide better services.

[Mandatory information for Membership]

All other fields are optional.

[Scope of Use of Users' Personal Information]

The Association primarily collects users' personal information to ensure convenient use of the Association's services. Based on the collected information, the Association may provide service-related information through various methods (phone calls, notifications, emails, SMS messages, etc.).

[Retention Period and Use of Users' Personal Information]

Information provided by users upon user registration may be retained for 12 months after user cancellation. Exceptions may apply if retention is required by current relevant laws.

[Sharing Users' Personal Information]

In principle, the Association does not provide users' personal information to external parties. However, exceptions may occur in the following cases:

• When the user (copyright holder and user) has given prior consent.
• When requested by an investigating authority in accordance with legal provisions or for investigation purposes, following the procedures and methods prescribed by law.

[How to View, Update, Modify, and Withdraw Consent for Users' Personal Information]

• Users who have registered with the Association can withdraw consent for the use of their personal information by submitting a cancellation request.
• Personal information can be viewed and edited through the "Change Information" menu on My Page.

[Protection of Children's Personal Information (Under 14 years old)]

• To protect children's personal information, the Association requires the consent of the legal guardian (parent) when registering users for children under 14 years old.
• The legal guardian (parent) can also access, withdraw consent, and modify personal information of children under 14 years old.

[Management of Personal Information and Dispute Resolution Guidelines]

Users who suffer damages due to personal information violations may file a complaint with relevant competent authorities of Vietnam.
