1. Vision & Mission

- Vision:

To become a leading organization effectively protecting the legitimate rights and interests of music performing artists in Vietnam.
To contribute to building a fair, transparent, and sustainably developing music environment.

- Mission:

To protect the copyrights and related rights of performing artists.
To raise awareness about intellectual property rights in the music industry.
To promote the development of Vietnam's music industry.

2. Key Responsibilitie

Regularly coordinate with relevant agencies to timely and fully disseminate laws, policies, and guidelines of the State in the field of copyright, related rights, and the Center's activities to related rights holders who have entrusted contracts with the Center.

- Management and Licensing of Related Rights:

License the use of rights based on entrusted contracts from rights holders.
Collect usage fees according to agreements in the contracts.
Periodically distribute revenues from rights exploitation to members after deducting operating costs according to regulations.

- International Cooperation:

Collaborate with foreign rights management organizations to protect members' rights and implement entrusted contracts in an international scope.

- Rights Protection:

Represent members in external relations and before the law to protect their legitimate rights.
Provide legal support to members in cases of disputes related to related rights.

- Support for Non-Members:

The Center may support individuals/organizations who are not members in specific entrusted cases.

- Other Activities:

Carry out activities in accordance with the law and the Center's principles and objectives.

3. APPA's Field and Scope of Operation

APPA is a collective representative that protects the performance rights of music performing artists, exploiting the economic value of performance rights based on authorization from performers as regulated by law.

Honoring and awarding ""Music Performing Artist of the Year,"" held annually to discover, honor, encourage, and promptly motivate national talents and artists active in the music performance field who are favored by the audience.

To be a common home for all artists, a place for training and assisting artists in difficult circumstances, and a midwife for musical talents.

Join relevant international organizations, link or cooperate with corresponding foreign organizations in the same field, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its members.
